Phases of the Adoption of Innovation in Organizations: Effects of Environment Organization and Top Managers

PIC1Summarizing lengthy and compact journal makes me feel like want to throw out.However since this journal was my handpick material for report submission therefore, I am willingly to read and understand all those written content. However, this topic very much related to an organizational society and far from my studies scope.. but its kind an interesting to gain knowledge from variants sources especially if its related innovation, generating new ideas in the way to enhance our daily life.

As for me, most attractive part of this journal was theoretical framework-age. Where author cited that “Younger managers are expected to initiate and adopt more innovations than older manager”


1)they bring better cognitive resources to decision-making

2)they are more receptive to adopting new ideas and behaviors

3)they have been trained more recently and their technical knowledge is more current.
